Fiesta Latinoamericana (Estilo Afrolatino)

On Saturday August 27 the Muchachas Borrachas return to Rialto for the closing party of World Cinema Amsterdam! In the place where is all began, they will host a spectacular Afro-Latin edition of their Fiesta Latinoamericana. Bringing together the many films that night (Welcome to the Smiling Coast, The African Doctor, Neruda and the Go Cuba! program), their swinging fiesta will feature a wide range of musical styles, from salsa to samba and from rumba to festejo. They will have a dance demonstration by Glen & Khristy from DançAmore Dance Company for you, as well as DJ Leslie G and DJ Eduardo Furia, who will let dance, dance and dance even more on the best Afro-Latin rhythms. Op zaterdag 27 augustus keren de Muchachas Borrachas terug naar Rialto voor het slotfeest van World Cinema Amsterdam! Op de plek waar het allemaal begon (precies 10 edities geleden!), zullen wij een spectaculaire Afro-Latin editie van ons Fiesta Latinoamericana neerzetten. Om de vele films van het festival die avond samen te brengen (Welcome to the Smiling Coast, The African Doctor, Neruda en het Go Cuba! programma), zal ons swingende fiesta een breed scala van muzikale stijlen aanboren, van salsa tot samba en van rumba tot festejo. Na de films, zo rond elf uur, half twaalf, zullen DançAmore Dance Company eerst een mooie dansdemonstratie geven en daarna kunnen jullie zelf dansen, dansen en nog meer dansen op de beste Afro-Latijnse ritmes van DJ Leslie G en DJ Eduardo Furia.
