This new Paramount biopic celebrates the life and music of an icon who inspired generations through his message of love and unity. Then, the film will be introduced by 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼-𝗚𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 aka 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗸, a Jamaican creative and artist who grew up in Kingston but is now based in the Netherlands, and 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀, a film historian (UvA/EUR) specialising in Jamaican cinema and the founder of Caribbean Creativity, a non-profit organisation committed to the production, programming and promotion of Caribbean and particularly Jamaican cinema. He will share a short clip of his upcoming documentary 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗰𝗮 on 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 as a prominent film location in the new Marley biopic.

The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley, alongside Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, and James Norton as Chris Blackwell. The film premiered at the Carib 5 in Kingston, Jamaica on January 23, 2024, and is scheduled to be released in the Netherlands on February 16.
